Jacob Love (Swooooonnnnn)

So once we had taken down all the artwork for the "Creative Plane" exhibition, we had to install the new exhibition "States" which was a solo exhibition featuring the work of photographer Jacob Love. (He was the most beautiful man known to the male race)
Its actually amazing the amount of time it takes to install an exhibition, even if the space is relatively small. I mean it took us 3 days of long hours. But the final outcome was amazing. The pictures looked beautiful, hanging there in the spot light, dangling from chains suspended from wire across the full length of the exhibition area.
The beautiful set of images were taken on a road trip to the US, witnessing his stay with a mysteriously anonymous, rural community, and confronting his curiosities regarding what he calls the 'post American dream'. Inspired by Jehovah Witnesses and their Watchtower magazine.

"Love has returned to London with a set of images that revolutionise the way we look at landscapes that surround us, consequently revealing tensions between vision and reality. He encourages us to see through fresh perspectives, and free ourselves from all preconceptions." As stated by Dazed Digital.
Here is a selection of some of the images which were showcased in the exhibition.....
